Kappa Delta Sorority is committed to providing opportunities and experiences that inspire women to greatness. Through our confidence platform and philanthropic endeavors, we help women make great things happen—on campus, in the community and in their own lives! Founded by four visionary women on October 23, 1897, the sorority has grown to more than 230,000 members, with 154 active collegiate chapters and 225 active alumnae chapters across the country.

“why kd? my sisters. the best thing about kd is my sisters. they are some of the most amazing human beings i’ve ever met. i’ve become a better person merely by their presence, let alone their constant love and support. they push me to be my best self but never fault me when i fail. they are strong and funny and unique and passionate and intelligent and giving and kind. i could go on and on saying what’s amazing about every one of them (and i have), but honestly i just hope i’ve had a fraction of the impact on them that they’ve had on me.
kappa delta has given me the best roommates i could ask for, someone to sit next to in every class, the person with whom i share an undying love for seth cohen, friends who are always down to listen to t swift, and ensured i will never get an iota of work done in the fishbowl bc a kd is always there ready to make me laugh. i traveled 900 miles to uvm knowing almost no one, absolutely terrified. kappa delta granted me a place to grow and change and just have a ton of fun. thank to all my incredible sisters, i love you so much
