“American consumers spend more than $762 (in and out of the home) per person every year on food that goes to waste. The Ending Wasted Food Within a Generation (EWF) program, a coalition led by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) alongside partners WRAP, the Ad Council, ReFED, the U.S. Composting Council, and the Institute for Local Self-Reliance, is working to empower households across the United States to change that through coordinated, evidence-based action to save American households money and prevent wasted food.”
