🌟 Senior Spotlight with .carlomagno 🌟

Favorite ADPi memory:
Running back home after being a rho gamma! Recruitment is such a fun time because it’s our chance to grow our chapter and sisterhood with all of the new members. As someone who did COB, it was so special to get the experience of “running home”, even if it wasn’t in the traditional sense.

Advice to younger sisters:
Say yes to trying new things! I was sooo nervous about being a Rho Gamma because I hadn’t gone through formal recruitment as a PNM, but it ended up being an amazing experience that allowed me to connect with the PNMs differently. It helped me meet incredible people across Panhel and grow even closer to my sisters! This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a leader.

Future plans:
I’ll be moving back home to Jersey and prepping to apply to medical schools!

From Emily Bernal,
Favorite ADPi memory:
Getting to serve on the Executive Board as VP of Membership Experience, and meeting all of my amazing sisters!!

Advice to younger sisters:
Just go up to and say “hello!” to your sisters!! I met my best friends because I asked to sit with them at our first Mallard Ball. Get involved, even in small ways. You learn so much, and get to know so many people. And just enjoy it!!! This sisterhood is truly something special!!

Future plans:
Applying to grad schools, exploring new cities, and seeing where the wind takes me :)

From Emily Kandravy,
Favorite ADPi memory:
Getting my little Hannah. She changed my relationship to diamond families in this chapter and I truly could not imagine my experience in this chapter or at UVM without her

Advice to younger sisters:
Be involved in as much as you can. this chapter can give you so much joy if you let yourself it by taking advantage of the activities events and opportunities it’s brings

Future plans:
Moving back to Boston and hopefully getting my masters degree in the next few years

From Ashlyn Miller,
Favorite ADPi memory:
Getting to meet my two lifelong best friends at our first date night was truly the world’s best gift. When I met my Emilys at Mallard Ball I knew instantly we would be three peas in a pod and I couldn't have been more right!

Advice to younger sisters:
Be yourself! You will always find people who love you for what you bring to the chapter authentically.

Future plans:
I’m currently planning on applying to grad school for either Landscape Architecture or Urban Design!

From Emily,
Favorite ADPi memory:
My favorite ADPi memories have been getting to plan our philanthropy events when I was Director of Philanthropy! I loved getting to use my creativity to plan events for an amazing cause and help build our relationship with Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Advice to younger sisters:
Be as involved as you can! ADPi has so many amazing opportunities for leadership and growth! I have made so many friends and connections through attending events and holding officer positions. Being in a sorority is an amazing way to build confidence and make lifelong friendships, you just have to show up for yourself :)

Future plans:
I am going to be an early education teacher in Boston!

From Noa,
Favorite ADPi memory:
Getting my little Sydney and then getting to serve as President and VPO together! I have loved watching you take your own little and have Alex continue the legacy! I truly couldn't have asked for a better fam and support system, and to many more fam dinners and memories!

Advice to younger sisters:
Get involved and take on a leadership role! Everyone in the chapter is there to support and uplift you so you are never in it alone! It might feel a little intimidating at first, but it’s such a rewarding experience once you jump in. I have learned so much about myself and from my sisters, and I can't wait to see what is next for Gamma Tau!

Future plans:
Working as a unit head at my overnight camp this summer and then as a nurse in Chicago!

Favorite ADPi memory:
Taking photos in front of the sunset at Mallard Ball!!!

Advice to younger sisters:
Do EVERYTHING! You’ll forever regret not attending sisterhood events, date nights, etc. Who cares if you have work the next morning- money comes back, your experiences with your sisters don’t 💎🩵

Future plans:
Raise huckleberry pie and continue working in the VT Statehouse
