So, this is an informational post. If you are doing performance stuff with your horses, eventually you may end up having to use some sort of ulcer medication for your horses, and of course for USDA approved ulcer meds, available for horses here in the US, the costs are going to be around $31 to $35 a tube. I found a company that is outside of the US, to order my horses' omeprazole from and the costs are real reasonable and when I ordered 42 tubes, it was around $463, including $38 for shipping verses spending ~$1500.
The company is Alber, and when I did the research it stated that their communications go through Australia but yet my order was shipped from Singapore. I read the reviews and there was hundreds of reviews, and everyone for the most part was happy with their product.
I ordered and had my order in about 2 weeks.
So far, I've been very happy with their product.
They offer it in paste, granules or tablets.
For those of us trying to keep our costs down, I feel this is an excellent alternative but once again, they have not sought FDA approval but I'm sure if they did, their costs would go way up to jump through our approval process.
