The Oredigger spirit was strong today as fans, students, and supporters gathered to send off the Montana Tech Women’s Basketball Team on their journey to the NAIA National Tournament in Lewiston, Idaho.

Before hitting the road, the team received a special blessing from Father Patrick Beretta, wishing them safe travels and success as they represent Montana Tech on the national stage.

Oredigger Basketball is Headed to the NAIA National Tournament!

After outstanding seasons in the Frontier Conference, both basketball teams from Montana Technological University have earned NAIA postseason recognition layoff berths.

Frontier Conference Champion Women’s Basketball will travel to Lewiston, Idaho for the opening round.

Men’s Basketball is headed to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to continue their postseason run.

Your grit, discipline, and heart were on full display. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, you showed what it means to compete the Oredigger way with toughness, teamwork, and relentless determination.

We are so proud of these student-athletes, the coaching staff, and everyone who supports the program. This championship is a testament to your hard work all season long.
