DayOne 2026 is coming next week!

From noon Wednesday, September 9, through noon Friday, September 11, Orediggers everywhere will come together to support the Montana Tech students, departments, programs, clubs, and initiatives they care about most.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of DayOne and cap off Montana Tech’s 125th anniversary celebration.

Together, we can honor our remarkable history while creating opportunities for the Orediggers who will shape our future.

What a night to be an Oredigger! 💚

It was wonderful to welcome Coach Kelvin Sampson and the Sampson family back to Butte for an evening filled with old friends, great stories, gratitude, and celebration.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated a remarkable Oredigger legacy—and the Sampson family’s continued commitment to the next generation of Montana Tech student-athletes.

How about Them Diggers From Butte!

Montana Tech opened the season in dominant fashion with a 48–0 Copper Game victory over Ottawa (Ariz.)!

With the Division One Rejects crew bringing Small Town Saturday to the Hill, the tailgate was buzzing with excitement from the very start!

The evening may have started with severe weather, but the skies cleared just in time for an incredible night of football — a packed tailgate, a full stadium, and a big win!

A huge THANK YOU to Montana Resources for sponsoring the Montana Tech Alumni & Friends Tailgate and helping us kick off the season with such a fantastic gathering of alumni, friends, fans, and the Oredigger faithful.

What a way to open the season — and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

Copper Game is almost here! ⛏️

Join us for the Montana Tech Alumni & Friends Copper Game Tailgate, proudly sponsored by Montana Resources, on Thursday, August 27 from 3:30–6:00 p.m.!

Come connect with fellow Orediggers and enjoy snacks and beverages, Oredigger giveaways before Montana Tech takes on Ottawa University (Arizona) at Bob Green Field. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.
