Congratulations to Shihua Brazill for being awarded as an Outstanding Graduate Student from the College of Education, Health and Human Development-Montana State University! Congratulations Shihua! For those of you who do not know her, Chen Shihua took out MS-TC and taught many a tech classes before moving in to the MSU PhD program.

Students in EDU 211D, Multicultural Education, may recognize Shihua Brazill, an instructor in the course. Well, now she is Dr. Shihua Brazill. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Brazill for successfully defending her three-article PhD dissertation, “Re-Conceptualizing Graduate Student Cross-Cultural Socialization: A Novel Strength-Based Perspective.” Her defense was well attended and included a global audience via Zoom, a testament to both the importance of her scholarship and the strength of her professional network.
