Safety, Health & Industrial Hygiene at Montana Tech Safety, Health, and Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety and Health at Montana Tech The B.S.

in OSH program at Montana Tech is the only established one in the five state region encompassing North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana and is the only program in the United States offered by a primarily minerals and energy engineering college. The Montana Tech OSH program is interdisciplinary and gives the student a background in the sciences and pertinent engineering areas. Emphasis

is placed on hands-on work in the laboratory and/or relating the subject matter to real world situations. The quality of the program has been recognized by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health through annual training grants providing scholarships for students majoring in OSH and Industrial Hygiene. Opportunities exist for internship appointments in government and industry.
