Today, we remember and honor a remarkable teacher, Mr. John Landry, who touched countless lives through kindness, dedication, and a passion for education and the arts. His classroom was more than a place of learning—it was a space where students felt encouraged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
His impact extended far beyond lessons and textbooks. Mr. Landry helped shape character, build confidence, and create memories that will stay with his students for years to come. The lives he influenced stand as a testament to the difference one caring educator can make. Not to mention, he was always eager to help out the Education Foundation with anything!
Mr. Landry was recognized this year as a Most Influential Educator through our Fab Fox program. Avalynn Ackenback chose Mr. Landry as her Most Influential Educator and had this to say about him, "He has taught me so many lessons that I will need in both my career and in real life. He constantly pushed me to improve and because he believed in me I started to believe in myself and my abilities. His hilarious commentary always made me laugh and he helped me feel confident in my future."
We are deeply saddened by his passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and former students. Mr. Landry's legacy will continue to live on through the many people he taught and inspired.
Rest in peace. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. ❤️🕊️
