On November 17th Calvin Lodge will honor Past Masters, Wives, and Widows of Master Masons, with a dinner held in their honor. Following the dinner, a program of celebration, recognizing their contribution to the craft will be presented. For years we have known that honorees, such as these, have been critical to the success of the lodge.
The Past Masters serve as a repository of knowledge on Lodge operation, and their wise counsel is eagerly sought by new Masters as they learn to navigate the governance of the lodge.
No man will ever be successful in Masonry without the encouragement and support of his wife. We know that the time a Mason spends in the lodge with us is time taken away from his wife and family, and we are eternally grateful to them for it. We always hope they feel, as we do, that the craft accomplishes its goal of taking a good man and helping him to become better.
By honoring the Past Masters, wives and widows we are striving to let them know how deep our appreciation is.
If you are a Past Master, wife or widow of a Master Mason you are cordially invited to come and celebrate your contribution to our fraternity.
A meal will be served at 6:00pm with the program beginning promptly at 7:00pm
