CSUCI Pre-Health Association CSUCI PreHealth Association This is the official page for the Pre-Health Association of CalIfornia State Channel Islands.

The Pre-Health Association is a club that brings students interested in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, medical research and all other health related careers together. It hopes to do this by providing important information regarding their career choice through the use of: guest speakers, encouraging peer mentoring, research and internships as well as forming partnerships with other Pre-Health clubs

in order to help provide support and networking for for its members. All majors are encouraged to join! We are not solely a club for Pre-Med students and welcome all students who harbor an interest in all disciples of the medical field or who are interested in public health! Hey everyone!

Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting today, October 30th, at 4:30 PM in Bell Tower 1302.

We will have two guest speakers!

One is a registered nurse that will be here to answer any questions that you may have about the profession or the process.

Two is a representative from Oxnard Adult School that will talk about the Certified Nursing Assistant program. Getting volunteer hours is a crucial part of all health professions, not only for resumes but ALSO for getting hands-on experience in your chosen field.

We are happy to announce that PHA’s first meeting of the Fall 2017 semester will take place this Monday, October 16th!

The meeting will be held at Bell Tower 1302 at 4:30 PM.

Come out and meet the officers, and learn about all the experiences they have had and some opportunities you can utilize!

We hope your summer has been both productive and restful.

The semester is approaching sooner than we think, so the PHA would like to know what YOU, the students, would like to see from us this coming semester. Suggestions would be guest speakers, tutoring opportunities, tours of graduate schools, you name it!

Pre - Health Association's Operation Game is in the works but be sure to play with us at Science Carnival hosted in Oxnard! The Science Carnival will be hosted on Saturday November 5th at Marshall Elementary School.
