Work in Process Wednesday! Episode 10: Youmna M. Chamieh ’22

Chamieh’s short stories blend autobiographical elements with fiction, allowing her writings to emphasize emotional and psychological truths over strict factual retellings. Her process often begins with a real memory or image, which she transforms into crafted vignettes. Each of her stories, according to her, stand alone rather than exist in chronological order. Major personal and global events alike inspire her symbolic and cathartic style of writing. www.youmnamelhemchamieh.com.

Work in Process Wednesday! Episode 9: Brennis Carrillo ‘26 💻🎬✒️✨

Brennis is a senior at Kirkland House double concentrating in Government and Theater, Dance & Media. This is her fourth year as an Arts Fest student producer, which she said broadened her horizons about the type of work in the arts she could do both on campus and professionally. Say hi to Brennis if you see her in Sanders or around campus during the festival!

The OFA is incredibly grateful for all the student producers who make the Harvard Arts Festival possible.
