Join the OFA's Dance Program and Theater Program for an introductory workshop on Liz Lerman's Critical Response Process (CRP) facilitated by award-winning choreographer and certified CRP practitioner Paloma McGregor!

CRP is a feedback system based on the principle that the best possible outcome of a response session is for the maker to want to go back to work. If you're laboring on a painting, designing a website, choreographing a dance, drafting a lecture, or composing a score, CRP helps you get fresh and useful feedback from peers, laypeople, and experts alike, while giving you the tools to do the same for others' work.

In use for over twenty years, CRP has deepened dialogue between makers and audiences, and enhanced learning between teachers and students. It has proven valuable for all kinds of creative endeavors, work situations, and collaborative relationships within and beyond the arts, from kindergartens to corporations.

This workshop is geared towards students involved in creative process, but open to all.

Due to limited capacity, registration is required. See link in linktree!

OFA Dance Program Spring 2025 Student-Led Dance Group Residency!

Join us in celebrating the Candela Latin Dance Troupe and Harvard Ballet Company (HBC) who are both in residence this week at Harvard Dance Center!

This is the first time two groups are in residence in the same semester, collaborating on trainings, technical planning, and space-sharing for the production week.

Candela Latin Dance Troupe's "Un Viaje Por El Mundo Un Viaje" is a journey full of Latin culture, community, and excitement! Candela invites you to travel Latin America with them and learn about their heritage through their showcasing of traditional and modern Latin dance styles from across the region.

Harvard Ballet Company's "Ephemera" blends the two definitions of its title: the transient, impermanent nature of beauty and its unexpected power to evoke nostalgia. HBC invites you to share glimpses into the behind-the-scenes lives of dancers and celebrate ballet as an art form that, while transient, leaves an indelible mark.

Come support these student dancers, choreographers, designers, directors, and producers in these entirely student-run productions!

Performance Dates/Times:
Thurs, April 17 at 7:30pm: HBC
Fri, April 18 at 7:30pm: Candela
Sat, April 19 at 12pm HBC, and at 4pm Candela
