The Global Education Innovation Initiative at the Harvard Graduate School of Education supports the development of global education leadership for 21st century education. nd creating a dynamic learning network of interested stakeholders around the globe. Our activities include the following. Research
We conduct collaborative research with our global partner sites to identify, study, and disseminate global education innovations focused on the development of 21st century competencies among youth, beyond core academic subjects. These competencies may include such knowledge areas as financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, engineering and design skills, and global citizenship competency. Educate
We offer training to education leaders from around the globe so that they can better support the development of 21st century competencies among youth, especially those who are the most vulnerable and least privileged. Convene
We regularly bring together a network of organizations, practitioners, researchers, and other civic actors across the globe to share practices, policy, and research.
