Give a warm welcome to our 2023-24 WSRP Research Associates who will work on book-length projects during the 2023–24 academic year, teach a one-semester course and deliver a lecture on their research during their time with us!

Ashley Purpura from Purdue University is the Visiting Associate Professor of Women’s Studies and Theology.

Elena Guzman from Indiana University Bloomington is the Visiting Assistant Professor of Women's Studies and African Religions.

Fareen Parvez from University of Massachusetts, Amherst is the Visiting Associate Professor of Women’s Studies and Islam.

Jessica Fowler from the University of Montana Western is the Visiting Associate Professor of Women’s Studies and Catholicism.

Samira K. Mehta from the University of Colorado Boulder is the Visiting Associate Professor of Women’s Studies and North American Religions Colorado Scholar.

The scholars of the Women’s Studies in Religion Program (WSRP) are creating their own paths of knowledge and Ann Braude, the director of the WSRP and Senior Lecturer on American Religious History at HDS, is leading the charge along with WSRP research associates.
