English Language Programs at Rowan University Intensive English Language Program Program Overview:

The IELP at Rowan at Camden has a forty year history. Classes are Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m.

Committed to providing international students, immigrants and newcomers access to higher education, the IELP integrates academic content with language competencies so students are well-rounded in their preparation for university study. to 3:00 p.m., and Fridays trips and other activities. The curriculum uses an integrated language and thematic approach which allows the students to develop academic

content knowledge in a classroom environment that is open to exploration of ideas and language development. Information literacy has been integrated across the curriculum so that students are immediately exposed to the library and on-line resources in a way that scaffolds the research process.
