Congrats to recent CU School of Music graduate, Jayson-Michael Tucker, on his new position!
Phil Campbell High School would like to welcome Jayson-Michael Tucker as our new Marching Bobcat Band director and music instructor.
Mr. Tucker, a native of New Hope, MS, recently received his Masters of Music from Campbellsville University in Kentucky. He also served as the assistant band director at Campbellsville Independent Schools.
Mr. Tucker is a graduate of UNA where he was a section leader in the UNA Marching Band and the basketball pep band. He served one year as the band director at Tharptown HS. He was also part of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp and interned with the Russellville High School Marching Band.
We will set a time soon for Mr. Tucker to meet with our band students and parents.
