10 Week Summer Paid Volunteer Services Internship in Canton:

WHAT is SLU PIC? SLU PIC stands for St. Lawrence University Public Interest Corps-a new partnership between St. Lawrence University and local/regional nonprofit and public interest organizations. SLU PIC links talented and passionate St. Lawrence University students and recent graduates with organizations to improve their ability to provide services to their constituencies and to help develop the next generation of leaders in this sector.

HOW does it work? Interested students apply in January/February for PAID (includes on-campus housing) 10 week summer internships with North Country organizations. ALL current students are eligible to apply.

WHERE can I learn more? Come to the info session on Monday, December 8th (Student Center SC-336) to learn about participating organizations, application procedures and more! Lunch provided!

The purpose of Omicron Delta Kappa is to:

Recognize those who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities, and to inspire others to strive for conspicuous attainments along similar lines;

Bring together the most representative students in all phases of collegiate life and thus to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate interest;

Bring together members of the faculty and student body of the institution, as well as other Omicron Delta Kappa members, on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
