➡️Career Readiness is one of our top goals for our Construction Management students!!!

Our Construction Management students have been busy with "Career Readiness" events and we are so proud of them! Our students recently had the opportunity to attend multiple trainings with CM companies, gaining "real world" knowledge and experience. We are grateful for the close relationships that we have with our CM industry partners and how this benefits our CM students. In addition, our students attended resume workshops, hosted by our CM faculty, to make sure their resumes were top-notch for the Career Expo this semester. And of course, our amazing CM students attended the spring Career Expo in full force this semester, landing internships and full-time employment with top-tier CM companies. We want to thank the 23 CM employers that came to the Career Expo this semester, and their willingness to give our students amazing employment opportunities. We also want to thank SEMO Career Services for all they do every semester for our students...we appreciate you all so much. Go CM! Go SEMO! ❤️🖤❤️

We started planning for the March 5, 2026 spring career expo, directly after our last fall career expo! Why? We know how important these events are for our Construction Management students...to land valuable hands-on internship opportunities during school, and to secure top-tier full-time employment after graduation. Thank you to the 23 CM companies who have already registered for this spring career expo. We look forward to seeing everyone at the career expo on March 5!

Where has the second half of this semester gone?! In addition to excelling in their Construction Management classes and completing their hands-on class projects, there were so many other cool things that our CM students did in the past few weeks. Here are just a few...1) they received amazing STEM scholarships, 2) they attended the MoDOT Bridge Competition and recruited future STEM majors, 3) they prepared "Redhawk Hard Hats" for our CM December graduates, 4) they attended a Virtual Design and Construction workshop hosted by Holland Construction, a top CM company...and so much more. We are proud of our dedicated CM majors!
