🎓 Happy Thursday, Redhawks! Today we’re shining the senior spotlight on Dikour Yarnankore — a graduating Nursing major who’s been making waves and touching lives throughout her time at SEMO! ❤️
Dikour has worked hard, stayed focused, and now she’s preparing for the next exciting step in her journey: she’ll be starting her nursing career at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis! 🏥🌟
As she looks back on her time at SEMO, she says what she’ll miss most are all the friends and people she’s met along the way — the late-night talks, shared struggles, laughs, and milestones that made her college experience unforgettable.
Dikour is also incredibly grateful for the support systems that have lifted her up through the years — the mentors, family, and friends who helped her get to this point.
Congratulations, Dikour! Your Redhawk community is cheering you on as you step into this next chapter. Barnes-Jewish is lucky to have you! 💉🩺

🎓✨ Senior Spotlight Time! ✨🎓
Happy Thursday, Redhawks! Today, we’re celebrating one of our incredible graduating seniors — Logan Tollison!
Logan is closing out her time at SEMO with not one, but two majors: Social Work and Spanish! Her passion for helping others and connecting across cultures has shaped her college journey, and now she’s ready to take that passion into the next chapter.
So, what’s next for Logan? She’ll be putting her Bachelor of Social Work into action and continuing her education at Tulane University’s School of Social Work, where she’ll be working toward her Master of Social Work. Big things are on the horizon, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where her path leads!
When asked what she’ll miss most about SEMO, Logan shared that it’s the memories she’s made here — the late-night study sessions, unforgettable friendships, campus traditions, and all the little moments in between that have made her time here so special.
Logan, your Redhawk family is so proud of you. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep making a difference. Tulane is lucky to have you! ❤️🖤

Mental health in youth is more important than ever, and understanding it is key to supporting the next generation. Join TRIO and EAP for our “Talk It Out: Mental Health in the Youth” seminar, presented by Dinia Jenkins, on April 16th at 12 PM in the University Center Tribute Room.
This seminar will explore the challenges young people face in today’s world, ways to identify mental health concerns early, and strategies for providing support. It’s a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and gain insight into a topic that affects us all.
Don’t miss this chance to engage with experts and take away valuable tools to help make a difference in the lives of the youth around us. 🌱

Happy Monday, RedHawks! 🌟 Meet Abbey Rudisaile, one of our incredible TRIO seniors! 🎓
Abbey will certainly miss the close-knit community at SEMO and the supportive network within TRIO. She credits the program for helping her earn her degree and feels like TRIO has been a true family to her throughout her journey. ❤️
After graduation, Abbey plans to teach in an elementary school, with the flexibility to work with students ranging from 1st to 6th grade. She’s excited to make an impact in the classroom and inspire the next generation of learners! ✏️
Major: Elementary Education 📚
We’re so proud of everything Abbey has accomplished, and we can’t wait to see all she’ll achieve in her teaching career! 🏫✨

Happy Friday RedHawks! 🎉 TRIO would like to recognize Logan Tillson for receiving The Power of Women Scholarship from the SEMO University Foundation. 🌟
This prestigious scholarship honors female students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, campus involvement, and the strength of women. For Logan, this award means so much more — it’s a reflection of the incredible women at SEMO who have guided and inspired her. Logan is proud to represent this scholarship, which highlights the achievements of women, especially in a field that wasn’t always welcoming to us.
Logan shared, “SEMO is filled with so many exceptional and talented women, and I am so grateful for the mentors and friends who have helped me along the way. This scholarship has empowered me to continue pursuing my dreams as I graduate with my BSW and move forward with my Master’s degree.”
Congratulations, Logan! We’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing things you will continue to do. 💙

Some more spring break fun! 🌞 On TRIO’s second day of our trip, we visited the Alamo and got to indulge in the rich history of this iconic landmark! 🏰 We had the chance to chat with the tour guides about the significance of the Battle of the Alamo and the brave soldiers who fought there. 🛡️⚔️ We also learned about the architectural details of the Alamo and how it’s preserved as a symbol of Texas’ fight for independence. 🇺🇸
It was an amazing experience to explore such a pivotal site in American history and deepen our understanding of its impact. 🙌

Happy Wednesday, Redhawk Nation! 🌞 During Spring Break🌸, TRIO had the chance to soak up some San Antonio sunshine and embark on an exciting tour of Texas A&M San Antonio! 🐆✨ We got to dive into the wide variety of graduate degree pathways offered at the university and learn about their unique campus traditions.
Our tour included a peek at the student housing, where we saw where students live and thrive during their academic journey. 🏠🎓 We also had a chance to check out their awesome esports area—perfect for any gaming enthusiasts! 🎮🏆
One of the highlights was discovering their Ring Ceremony tradition, a cherished moment for many students as they mark their academic accomplishments. 💍✨
Exploring the beautiful campus gave us a sense of the vibrant student life and the strong community spirit that makes Texas A&M San Antonio such a special place. 🔥💙

February was a whirlwind of excitement for TRIO! 💫
We kicked off the month with our Valentine’s Day booth, spreading love and smiles while striking a pose. 💖📸
Next, we traveled to Memphis, Tennessee, where we explored history and learned all about the University of Memphis’s graduate programs. 🚌🎓
We wrapped up the month with our annual TRIO Day celebration, an evening dedicated to honoring our students’ hard work and achievements, making valuable connections, and creating unforgettable memories. 🌟🏆
And the fun doesn’t stop here—March has even more in store, so stay tuned for what’s to come! 📅🎉
