5 years. It’s been 5 years since SEMO Cheer took the stage at NCA College Nationals.
This groups of athletes reminded everyone exactly why they belong there. Through every obstacle, every injury, every setback, and even last minute changes they never once backed down. There was blood, sweat, and tears poured into this season. More than anything, there was heart.
We came home 11th in the nation. Some may just see a number, but we see something so much bigger. We see a goal accomplished. We see a team that fought their way back onto that stage and proved they belong. From our coaches, to our athletic trainer, , to our strength and conditioning coach, , to the athletes themselves, pushed to be 1% better every single day. That standard doesn’t stop here. If anything, it lit a fire.
This is just the beginning.
