Is a winter storm going to stop our team from training... snow way! At this weeks Leadership Lab cadets practiced Flight Drill Evaluations and detail marching. The ultimate tests of leadership and coordination under pressure. I think they can handle it!😉

It's Training Week 2 and our cadets waste no time diving into expeditionary training. During this Lead Lab, cadets utilized land navigation skills to locate an extraction point and small unit tactics to combat enemy fire on their route. The cold doesn't stop this team from training!!!

Welcome back Soaring Warriors! We hope you had a fantastic winter break with friends and family. To start the semester strong our cadets received expectations from the commander and cadre, followed by awards to include: academic excellence, physical training excellence, and top cadet recruiter. Our detachment also increased its cumulative GPA by 50% nationally from the previous academic year. Let's keep up that outstanding performance and crush this spring semester!!!

Today during the SIU Chicago Take Over Tour, the SIU Alumni Association and Veterans Constituent Organization, in partnership with SIU Veteran Services and Paul Copeland from the SIU Office of Veterans Affairs, are hosting a special gathering just for our veteran alumni in the area.
