Here's what you need to do:
✅ Come to the Saluki Basketball game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, at Banterra Center and sit in the Dawg Pound.
✅ Three students will be randomly selected to participate in an on-court contest. Up to three students can win FREE spring 2026 tuition!
✅ Contest details will be shared during the game.

We are excited to have Jeremy back on campus in service as parade Grand Marshal for SIU Homecoming 2025!

We’re proud to announce NFL safety and SIU alum Jeremy Chinn as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Homecoming Parade!

A standout student-athlete from 2016 to 2019, Chinn left his mark on Saluki Football with 243 tackles, 13 interceptions, and a legacy of leadership on and off the field. An exercise science major and three-time All-MVFC honoree, he proved what it means to be both fierce and focused.

After making history at the NFL Combine, Chinn was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2020 and is now a proud member of the Las Vegas Raiders. This fall, he returns home to lead the parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and will also be honored during the Saluki Football game at 2 p.m. against Northern Iowa as a 2025 Saluki Hall of Fame Inductee.

Once a Saluki, always a Saluki. 🐾
