This week on Monday and Tuesday 7 of our students attended the annual ISSRT - Illinois State Society of Radiologic Technologists conference in Bloomington!
-the students listened to several talks, got to talk with several vendors and hospitals, compete in scholar bowl and a kahoot, and one received a scholarship.
-the team of four scholarbowl members received first place after competing on Monday! This team should be very proud of themselves as they have been practicing three times a week since January!
-in the conference wide kahoot with 150 people several of our members got top twenty! Rachel got top ten and got to advance to a finals round.
-During awards Kennedy received two scholarships! These are very competitive scholarships and we are very proud of her!
-the seven members also got to try some restaurants we do not have in Southern Illinois, such as WingStop and Portillos !!

Lambda Nu had so much to celebrate tonight!! Our sophomores got pinned in and our seniors received their cords for graduation!
We had an amazing night filled with Quatros pizza and a fun raffle that included generous gift card donations from local restaurants. One of our sophomores even won a set of CPX pickleball paddles!
Special thank you to our executive board, President Abby Litteken, Vice President Sarah Kohs, Treasurer Blake Scherer, and Secretary Mariana Riviara!
Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable year!! Lambda Nu is so proud of all of our students!

Our Lambda Nu Saluki’s have been spotted again in the community! Tonight some of our students worked the concession stand for the first Saluki Basketball game of the season!! Great job guys!! 🩻
