Description:
Free SIU workshop exploring how artificial intelligence is shaping teaching, learning, research, productivity, and real-world problem solving.

Morning session: generative AI foundations, key concepts, current AI landscape, diffusion models, and architectures.
Lunch break/light refreshments: 12:00–1:00 PM.
Afternoon session: frontier models, AI challenges and trends, student/administration demos, panel discussion, and Q&A.
