The dynamic and active Student Center of Southern Illinois Carbondale. Constructed in 1961.

Due to the remodeling of the Student Center's Third Floor, the Office of Student Engagement, the Student Programming Council (SPC), and the RSO accountants have moved to the Student Center's Fourth Floor. They're easy to find, just turn right after exiting the elevator. Once the Third floor is ready, OSE plans to move back to their former location.

Beat the heat this Summer and visit the coolest lounge on campus!

The England Student Center lounge is located on the fourth floor of the Student Center. It features a relaxing environment, study spaces, large screen TVs, meeting rooms, kitchenette and a reservable podcast studio!

The Student Center Chick-fil-A closes permanently tomorrow, Friday, May 29 at 2 pm.

So there's still time for you to get your CFA fix! The Student Center location will be open 10:30 am - 2 pm, Thursday and Friday.

Pardon our progress! Currently a large section of the third floor is being remodeled and is not accessible. The SIU Office of Student Engagement can be reached via the south stairwell, but will be temporarily relocating to the fourth floor while renovations are underway. Also the Old Main Room on the second floor is undergoing work as well.
