Congratulations to our very own Meridith Brozik for winning the Distinguished Staff Award for Student Experience 🏆

Meridith has an extraordinary impact on the student experience through her compassion, creativity, and unwavering advocacy for students. She is a true “mama bear” and creative genius behind most library projects. If you have ever used a resource from the Care Catalog, painted a rock for the Community Rock Garden, or participated in one of our many craft activities, you’ve felt Meridith’s impact. She brings empathy, creativity, and joy to everything she does, and she makes this library a place where every student can feel at home.

Congratulations on such a well-deserved honor, Meridith. Our library would not be the same without you ❤️

Have you ever wondered what happens to a book when its returned through a book drop? Our book drop gremlins - I mean, librarians - personally welcome each book back and keep out unwanted items like trash and personal items. 🧚📚

Please remember to return your library books before you leave for the summer. A librarian is sitting there now, eagerly awaiting them. (Okay, they’re not actually in there, but we do really want them back!)

Watch CJ take us on a tour of Archives & Special Collections 📕

Not only does the Archives have space for quiet study on weekdays (including now, during finals!), but there are also so many artifacts and exhibits regularly on display.

Whether you’re a graduating senior, finishing your first year, or somewhere in between, make cross visiting Archives & Special Collections off of your Dickinson bucket list. With so much of Dickinson’s history to learn about, it’s an experience you don’t want to skip!

Count Stackula is journeying through the stacks to start a new series about library favorites!

Listen to CJ, a student employee in the Archives, talk about her favorite archival object: a seventeenth-century copy of a Book of Four-Footed Beasts and Serpents. 🐍 (Sorry, no manticore emoji ☹️)

See the book for yourself in the Archives, open weekdays 9am-5pm, or grab a coloring page featuring one the beasts from the circulation desk!
