Such a wonderful weekend for the herbal ways last weekend!

We loved sharing space with and teaching our Foundations of Herbalism Apprenticeship Students this last weekend!

Some of the topics were cooking with herbs with Our group got to harvest nettle and garlic mustard to make nettle soup and garlic mustard pesto. 😋

Also on the agenda was learning all about tinctures with Madelon & with hands-on harvesting of nettle, lemon balm, cleavers and wood betony to make alcohol, vinegar and glycerite tinctures. This is always SO much fun!

A nice trial of the respiratory herbs - and a unique experience of drinking elecampane tea … oh boy … talk about bitter ☺️— but effective at opening up breathing!

What an amazing weekend learning about and connecting with the plants! 🌱 💚

This beautiful group of beings spent the last 7 months learning diagnostic tools from Traditional Chinese & Ayurvedic Medicines as assessment tools for working with herbal medicine clients.

Led by our expert teachers ✨& .out.loud 🌸 we are 💯 confident that we are sending skilled & thoughtful Clinical Herbalists out into the world to share their knowledge and do good work by supporting loved ones, friends, and clients. 💚🦋

Our beautiful new cohort of students starting our Level 1 Foundations of Herbalism Apprenticeship beginning tomorrow!!!! 🌱🌸🫶

Each spring we eagerly await meeting the new souls who will join us on the farm, learning about the herbs, connecting in community, & finding their light for 1 weekend per month for the next 6-months. It is truly a magical time! ✨🌼
