“From every climb came a story worth telling. They climbed. They created. And the story continues…”
Today, we celebrated the University of West Georgia Class of 2026 graduates, especially the remarkable undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Communication, Film, and Media.
Behind every degree is a journey filled with growth, resilience, creativity, and determination. These students spent years finding their voices and sharpening their crafts. Producing films, telling meaningful stories, building strategic campaigns, leading organizations, creating multimedia content, covering major events, broadcasting live productions, and bringing ideas to life in countless ways.
They learned how to adapt, collaborate, pivot, and lead. They discovered the power of storytelling and the responsibility that comes with it. Every late night editing session, production meeting, presentation, internship, and breakthrough moment became part of a larger journey that shaped who they are today.
To our graduating SCFM students: thank you for the energy, passion, creativity, and leadership you brought to our classrooms, studios, productions, and community. You helped shape the story of SCFM, and your impact will continue long after graduation day. As you begin your next chapter, whether in media, film, journalism, public relations, digital content, graduate school, or new creative ventures, please know that we are proud of you and excited to see where your journey leads next!
Congratulations to all UWG graduates and especially to our SCFM Class of 2026!
Go West. Go WOLVES! 🎊🎓
