They say a dream is a wish your heart makes, but at UWG, it’s a dream our community builds. 👑🎀✨

The Phi Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega proved that magic isn’t just found in movies. After raising a remarkable $13,830 for their chapter's philanthropy, Make-A-Wish Georgia, the sisters are officially trading their textbooks for glass slippers to send young Osemen on a princess-themed journey to Disney World this summer.

As graduation weekend concluded , we’re reflecting on the incredible accomplishments of our seniors and the impact they’ve made on the UWG community. 💙

This weekend, they walked across the stage and officially closed one chapter while beginning another. We are so proud of all they achieved during their time at UWG through leadership, friendship, service, and the memories they created along the way.

Thank you, seniors, for the legacy you leave behind. We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next.

During Greek Week, our chapters are tasked with a donation challenge to not only strengthen their standing, but to create a meaningful and lasting impact in the Carrollton community—turning friendly competition into real support for those who need it most.

Our chapters donated a grand total of 10,000 individual items, directly contributing to the well-being of individuals and families across seven local organizations. These donations don’t just fill shelves—they provide relief, resources, and hope where it matters most.

Donations were made to:

Carroll County Child Advocacy Center
Open Hands United Christian Ministry
Circles of West Georgia
West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter
The Homeless Resource Bridge
UWG Basic Needs Closet
Ascend Women’s Care & Family Support

We are so proud of our UWG Greeks. This past Greek Week, our community collected over 10,000 individuals items and were able to be distributed across the Carroll Co. community to seven local nonprofits!

Allison Stone of UWG Panhellenic, VP of Civic Engagement, partnered with fellow Greek organizations to spearhead a successful canned food and water drive that will make a tangible impact for our clients, demonstrating the power of community coming together.💜
