Make memories and show your Wolf Pride!🐺🤩

Bring your family and friends to join the pack for one fun filled weekend! Join the fun on September 25th and 26th for two days of entertainment all with your people!!

First, on September 25 come out and enjoy a day packed with music, food, and games. Stop by the Campus Center Back Patio from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. to unwind and mingle with family and friends and enjoy some light snacks. Then at 5 p.m. see Flava’ Band ATL perform LIVE for Wolves Unplugged. Bring your family out to experience the UWG Campus.

Then, on September 26th keep the fun going with a jam packed day where your family can get the full campus experience. Start your day off at 10 a.m. and continue experiencing the hype of the Wolf Pack by exploring campus activities! Finally end your day with the Wolf Walk, Tailgate, and Football game of your West Georgia Wolves vs Fort Valley State University starting at 2:45 p.m. ❤️💙

Join Career Services for the “Workshop: What do you actually want?” On September 17 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the University Community Center (UCC) room 311. Join a safe space to talk about goals and what you want in a career. Learn about careers that fit your life, not a life that fits your career. Come out and turn your values into a vision.💼🐺

Stocked with Kindness! Help serve the community on September 19 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Volunteer Ambassadors for Hands of Hope Pantry. Meet at the Campus Center Lot at 8 a.m. for provided transportation to the Douglasville Food Pantry. You will pack boxes, organize donations, and support pantry staff. Making sure kindness is always on the shelves. Come out, lend a hand, and fill a bag for Hands of Hope.

Culture meets community with our pack🐺

Honor the heritage and celebrate the present with the Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion(CSII) from September 14 - 22 at different events across campus in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Kick off the celebration at Loteria Night on September 14 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom. Enjoy traditional snacks, exciting prizes, vibrant music, and create loteria cards to celebrate Hispanic tradition.

Then enjoy Hispanic food on September 15 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on the Campus Center Back Patio at Carne Asada, an event inspired by a Barbecue. Where students can come enjoy community, fun games, and traditional food.

Step your way into fun music, delicious food, and vibrant colors while we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Hispanic Heritage Night Market. On September 16 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Perry Building and Patio (formerly known as the TLC).

End the celebration off with a sweet treat at Sabor y Tradicion on September 22 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. in Love Valley. Enjoy Latin American fruits and learn its origins with this vibrant event.

These fun-filled events combine culture, tradition, and amazing foods. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Pack!!💙❤️

Namaste and play with goats! Relax, stretch, and unwind with University of Recreation (UREC) for this year’s Goat Yoga happening on September 18 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Love Valley. This will be broken up into two different sessions. (Times listed below). Follow a short beginner friendly yoga class, and then enjoy a fun Goat and Greet where you can pet and take pictures with the goats. Baaaa-lance your way through a fun way to destress from your long week. Come out and enjoy the ultimate mind body and goat experience.

Session 1 will be from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Session 2 will be from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Petting Zoo will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Explore the Sweetwater Creek State Park with University Recreation (UREC) for a Day Hike on September 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Tag along for a guided tour of the park’s trail, historic mill ruins, wooded landscapes. Come admire the views at the State Park and get your heart pumping. Last year, students raced to the finish line for homecoming and had an absolute blast! This year, we are bringing it back to the 80s for the Back to the Future theme.

Ready to represent the University of West Georgia? Homecoming Court is a prestigious opportunity to showcase your leadership, campus involvement, and impact while serving as an ambassador for the Wolf community during one of the year’s most celebrated traditions. Homecoming court is officially open to all students for sign ups until September 25th so be sure to click the link in our bio!

Homecoming week will be taking place from October 16th – 24th. Come turn up, make friends, and meet alumni while showing off your 80s grooves!❤️💙
