☀️ Summer Hours Update ☀️

Summer hours are officially in effect at Ingram Library!
We’ll be open Monday–Thursday from 8 AM–7 PM and Friday from 8 AM–5 PM. The library will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer semester. Have a safe and productive summer, Wolves!

📣 Good news — the deadline has been extended! Applications for the Ingo Swann Research Fellowship are now open through May 18, 2026.

This fellowship offers researchers the opportunity to work with UWG Ingram Library’s Special Collections, exploring parapsychology and human consciousness, including the life and legacy of Ingo Swann.

As shared by this post, Ingram Library’s Special Collections is the source of many primary source materials included in the new book about the Kennedy Chapel, including photos of RFK from the college president at the time of their visit in May 1964, James E. Boyd.

We are so excited to welcome Cassandra Burford to the Ingram Library team as Director of Collection Management and Discovery Services!

Cassie was born and raised in Alabama and received her MLIS in Digital Libraries and Metadata at the University of Alabama. She is excited to use her background in data management and artificial intelligence to see how to incorporate ethical AI usage into the library space.

Cassie is passionate about books, her kids, and her farm. Her home is filled with vegetable gardens and a grand total of 17 animals, including chickens, goats, dogs, cats, and a horse.

In her free time, you can find her reading, reviewing books on TikTok, Scotch stitching, and traveling to visit her friends.
