Five University of West Georgia Tanner Health School of Nursing (THSON) faculty members – Drs. Kim Crawford, Kelly Dyar, Cindy Johnson, Katie Morales and Amy Yarbrough – have been named to the Great 100 Nurses Foundation's list! Their recognition marks the first time any nurse in Georgia has received this honor and reflects 's commitment to preparing the next generation of nurses.

's Dr. Susie Jonassen is replacing expensive textbooks with affordable learning resources, allowing students from the University of West Georgia Tanner Health School of Nursing (THSON) to focus on mastering their craft rather than managing debt. 🩺 🏥

Thanks to two University System of Georgia Affordable Learning Grants (ALG), Dr. Jonassen enhanced the school's learning experience by intentionally redesigning each course to advance students' readiness for their future careers.
