Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) is an international organization with more than 5,000 members. WTS is committed to excellence in the transportation industry and provides opportunities for member career advancement through the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences.


To encourage women pursuing careers in transportation, the Orange County Chapter of WTS will be offering multiple graduate and undergraduate scholarships this year to women in Southern California. In 2012, WTS Orange County awarded eight scholarships: three to undergraduate for $5,000, four to graduate students for $4,500, and one to high school student for $2,000. The number of scholarships and the amounts for the 2013-2014 academic year will be determined following a review of the applications received, but it is anticipated that a similar level of funding will be available to be distributed to exceptional applicants. This year, the Orange County chapter of WTS is proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for community college students to be awarded to local students that are pursuing an associate or technical degree in Transportation related studies.
