The Community Education Department has been appreciative of WJPF Radio for 25 years for their support! Morning News Watch Host Tom Miller has been an avid supporter of the many activities the department has been responsible for including our classes, Civil War Days, and Hunting and Fishing Days. Kids College Camps and other classes are underway at the College this week! It is so nice to see so many students in the buildings enjoying the opportunities offered by the Community Education Department! Registration Began May 17 for the Summer 2021 Semester!
Important Dates to Remember. . . . .Most classes begin June 7, 2021 but there are a few early and late starts. Registration for summer officially opens in the office and via phone on May 17, 2021, the same day the brochures will be mailed out to every household in the College District. Popular camps will again be offered such as Chess, Cookies for Kids, Jr. Police Academy, Science-Beg & Adv, and more. We will be offering several new classes for adults this summer, including Going Beyond your Why, Goalsetting Aligned with your Purpose, Novice Scent work for Dogs, Yoga, Water Aerobics and more.

All scheduled John A. Logan College Activities at all College Facilities after 3:30 PM on Wednesday, February 10 have been canceled. Evening classes will operate on a remote schedule. The College will run on a delayed start at 10 AM on Thursday, February 11. The administration will continue to monitor weather conditions and report any changes to the College homepage, local media, official social media, JALC Text, and email. You are encouraged to take your time traveling to and from campus.
