This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and remember the legacy of General John A. Logan, who played a key role in establishing the national day of remembrance.

Please note the following upcoming closures:

🇺🇸 Monday, May 25
JALC campus will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

☀️ Beginning Friday, May 22
Campus will also be closed on Fridays for the summer through July 24

John A. Logan College’s Surgical Technology Program has earned national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty and staff and ensures students are prepared with the knowledge, clinical experience, and professional skills needed to succeed in today’s healthcare environment.

Congratulations to Program Director Jennifer Jordan, Dean Dr. Kristin Yosanovich, and everyone involved in helping achieve this milestone for our students and region! 💙

Even though the semester has wrapped up, we still want to spotlight the incredible work happening inside our classrooms at John A. Logan College! 💙

Students in PSY-200 recently presented their semester-long social psychology research projects during a conference-style poster session. From social influence and media impact to relationships and attribution theory, students designed surveys, analyzed data, and shared their findings in a professional research setting.

Thank you to the JALC faculty, staff, and students who stopped by to learn more about the projects and support our students’ hard work throughout the semester.
