I spent a wonderful evening listening to, 3 CC OTA students sing in the Casper College Chamber Singers and Collegiate Chorale. They sounded amazing. Great job Emma, Ella, and Ava.

The CC OTA club played the faculty team tonight! It was such a great time. We had students playing against their teachers, and one student reffing the game. Also the students had their amazing support cheer squad rooting them on.

Today the Casper College OTA program participated in Schools to Scrubs. High school students from around the state come to learn about different professions in the school of health sciences. This year simulation was a motor vehicle accident.

Andrew, Ava and Jaiden were the lead OTAs and presented to over 200 students. They lead an OT session with the focus on cognition and motor control training through the use of holding a mandolin, identification of mandolin string names, and practicing dressing skills with a fishing vest, and Upper extremity ROM with casting a fishing rod. The rest of the students spent the day educating all of these high school students on the amazing field of occupational therapy.
