The Annual Career & Resource Fair at SWCC is just around the corner—and everyone is welcome!

This event is open to SWCC students and members of the community who want to connect with 60+ local employers and community organizations. Whether you’re looking for a job, thinking about a career change, exploring career paths, or helping a student plan their future, this fair has something for you.

We want to give a shoutout to our HEO teacher Zach Mondrage and our students for their hard work on the Big Sandy Soil & Conservation project. Terra Tech Engineering designed the layout and set the grade stakes, and our crew installed silt fence for erosion control, stripped the topsoil, and then dug to plan with the correct slopes and depths. Great teamwork all around.

Southwest is offering a cutting-edge Fiber Optic Technician course starting September 1st and running through October 2nd, held on our Main Campus.
This fast-paced, hands-on program prepares you for a high-demand career in fiber optics where you'll travel, work on exciting projects, and help keep the world connected.

✅ Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT®) credential
✅ OSHA 10
✅ Hands-on training in our on-campus pole yard
