Mark your calendars for our next community Safe Zone Training (SZT) opportunity in June! There will be two training sessions hosted a week apart with the presentations taking place in the Fellowship Hall at St. Timothys United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.

--SZT Part 1: June 21st, 3:30-5:00pm, 3220 Terrace Dr.
--SZT Part 2: June 28th, 3:30-5:00pm, 3220 Terrace Dr.

These Safe Zone Trainings are open to anyone, regardless of your knowledge level related to LGBTQ+ topics! Community trainings are provided free of charge to the public, but donations are encouraged for those that feel called to contribute monetarily as well. Hey ThreeHouse friends! We still have some needs for Finals Week Breakfasts! Sign up on our spreadsheet (link in comments), call us on Friday between 9am and 4pm (319-266-4071), or email us ([email protected]) to sign up.

Things we especially need include meatless sausage, sliced turkey and/or ham, hashbrown patties, chorizo crumb, sliced cheese, coffee cake, donuts, and egg bake.

Thanks for always making Finals Week Breakfasts one of the best events of the semester :)

Over the last month or so, we've had some wonderful collaborative partners come and worship and pray with us at ThreeHouse in a variety of ways, and for many in attendance, in new forms!

Luther Thoresen and Bonnie Smith-Davis of Contemplative Outreach, Northeast Iowa Chapter started us off with a multi-part workshop on the method of Centering Prayer.

First Congregational UCC came over with their choir and members and led us in Marty Haugen's Holden Evening Prayer.

Most recently, First Baptist Church led us in a Taizé service, guided by a handful of their musicians.

Additionally, Pastor Dave and some students are looking forward to heading down to Iowa City tomorrow to once again participate in Iowa Hillel's Passover Seder.

What a joy it is to facilitate these collaborations for our students and local young adults as a way to experience rich connection to the Divine!
