Meet another one of our sisters who studied abroad during the spring semester!

Hello! My name is Jayde Nelson and I had the greatest opportunity to study abroad in Greece last semester! I am double majoring in psychology and family services with a minor in mental health.

My favorite food from Greece has to have been the pasta mista from La Pasteria, a restaurant my roommates and I went to every Wednesday for the half off pasta! The gyros everywhere were so good too!!

My favorite destination outside of Greece was either Egypt or Israel in terms of culture, but everywhere in Europe blew me away with their beautiful sights!

Studying abroad gave me such an incredible opportunity to meet so many amazing people in such a beautiful place. I met many of my friends through classes, a Bible study, and all eleven roommates!!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to travel, explore the world, and meet new people in a unique way. I got to try some great food, in great company, in an incredible environment 🇬🇷🌞

Meet one of our sisters who studied abroad during the spring semester!

Hey!! My name is Josie Mctaggart! I studied abroad last semester at Florence University of the Arts in Florence Italy through UNI! I am a Communications major with a Public Relations and Digital Media Leadership minor.

My favorite class I took was either cultural introduction to Italy where I met all of my best friends from around the world and got to travel across Italy or social media where I learned lots of useful information and a new perspective of how different countries use social media.

My favorite food has got to be truffle gnocchi from Osteria Santo Spirito, but everything was amazing!

My favorite destination besides Italy has got to be either Morocco, Africa or anywhere in Greece. It is so hard to choose!

Studying abroad taught me numerous things as well as allowing me to experience a once in a life opportunity. I met some of the most amazing people from around the world and got to learn about different cultures and lifestyles.🇮🇹🌞

A bittersweet week celebrating and saying goodbye to our lovely seniors! These seniors have been leaders, role models, and a constant example of what it means to be a Gamma Phi Beta women.
