Join us for Celebration on the Hill during Homecoming & Alumni Weekend on Friday, October 2 from 5:00–7:30 PM at the Hennessey Recreation Center.

Enjoy an evening featuring cocktails, appetizers, and music from the MMU Jazz Band from 5:00–6:00 PM, followed by a program at 6:00 PM honoring our 2026 Alumni Award recipients and Athletic Hall of Fame inductees.

This signature event brings together alumni, current students, faculty, and staff for an evening of connection, recognition, and Mustang pride. 💙

Way Back to '76

Campus life was buzzing during the 1975-76 academic year.

Residence halls were filled to capacity, and resident assistants organized events throughout the year, including hayrides, dances, mixers, skating parties, and even a taffy pull.

As we count down to the Class of 1976's 50th Reunion, we're revisiting a few highlights from their final year on the Hill.

Join us on Friday, October 2 during Homecoming & Alumni Weekend as we celebrate the Class of 1976, our Golden Graduates (alumni celebrating 50+ years since graduation), and the Sisters of Mercy at a special luncheon honoring generations of Mount Mercy memories and traditions. 💙

🕛 Lunch & Program | 12–1:30 PM

Following the luncheon, alumni are invited to enjoy guided campus tours led by current students and explore updated campus spaces and favorite landmarks.

Way Back to '76

1976 was a year of growth at Mount Mercy.

On April 25, the Donnelly Center for Nursing Education was dedicated, creating a new home for one of the college's largest academic programs. That same year, new lower-campus apartments were taking shape and would soon welcome students to campus.

We're excited to welcome the Class of 1976 back to campus this fall for their 50th Reunion.
