Cedarville University welcomes new students on Getting Started Weekend 2013, August 16-18.!


As a Getting Started CREW leader, come prepared to encourage, team-build and have fun together as we begin to build relationships with incoming freshmen. GS CREW are required to return to CU on August 13, at 7 p.m.

When you pick up your key, today & tomorrow in SSC 154, you will also get your nametag/lanyard. Please wear them beginning at our 7 pm meeting tomorrow and wear them through the week/weekend (exception: when you go canoeing! They aren't water proof!).

You may return next Monday or Tuesday, 8/13 & 14, between 9 - 5 both days (come to SSC 154 for your key),
BUT YOU MUST BE BACK IN TIME FOR OUR FIRST MEETING TUESDAY, 8/14 @ 7 PM in BTS 104!

Please sign up for 2 duties and write down what jobs you have, where to report and at what time, and mark this on your calendars so that you are where you need to be! We need you filling these jobs, so we are counting on you to be there!

You may return anytime after 9 AM on Monday, August 13th (pick up your room key in SSC 154 Monday or Tuesday 9-5), and you need to be back to attend our first meeting on Tuesday, August 14th at 7 PM in BTS 104. Your first meal on CREW is breakfast Wednesday August 15th.

This Tuesday, July 31, I will be sending out the link (via e-mail & Facebook) for you to sign up for Getting Started weekend volunteer duties (serving in the check in line, working at Chuck's, helping with events, etc.). Please sign up for 2 duties.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your last two weeks of summer before you pack up to come back!

I sent you an e-mail yesterday with the co-leader lists for you to check on for us (look over our shoulder Please!).
Thank you to those of you who checked. If you have not done so, please do!
Thanks to those who have checked we have found a few who were left off altogther, some who will be RAs and can't be on CREW, mis-matched co-leaders, etc. We will get these corrected.
Thanks for your help, we want to get corrections made before you return.

Just a heads up that I will be sending out an e-mail around August 1 with a link for you to sign up for volunteer jobs during Getting Started (helping people move in, directing traffic, working the parking lot party, dish pit, etc.).

So, watch your e-mail & our page around August 1 for the link so you can sign up!
