Quick heads up: the City of Syracuse is holding four public meetings this summer to gather community input on the Comprehensive Plan 2050 - the long-range roadmap that shapes housing, transportation, neighborhood development, equity, and quality of life for the next 25 years.

It's important to our community members and our allies show up and our voices are heard.

Meetings:
Thursday, June 25 — Petit Branch Library, 105 Victoria Pl, 5:30–6:30pm
June 30 — Northeast Community Center, 716 Hawley Ave, 5:30–6:30pm
July 9 — Hazard Branch Library, 1620 W Genesee St, 5:30–6:30pm
July 14 — Southwest Community Center, 401 South Ave, 5:30–6:30pm
Can't make it in person? Take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/syrcompplan.

Plans like this reflect the people who participate. I'm on this committee to make sure LGBTQIA+ needs - safe neighborhoods, affirming spaces, accessible housing - are part of the conversation. The more of us in the room, the louder that voice gets.

I hope some of you can come out tomorrow night!

After significant reflection, Sisu Therapy Group has made the decision to end all official affiliations with Travis Longo, H Grey Supply Co, and Queeracuse.

We recognize the important role Queeracuse played in connecting LGBTQIA+ individuals in Syracuse/CNY, and it is heartbreaking to see a resource that meant so much to so many leave such a significant gap in our community due to one individuals negligent and inappropriate behavior.

While we are ending these affiliations, our commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and fostering affirming, accountable, and inclusive spaces remains unchanged.

Our community deserves safe, ethical, and sustainable spaces to connect, belong, and thrive. We remain committed to being part of that work moving forward. ❤️🏳️‍🌈
