One week ago, we welcomed the first group of future Warriors to campus for our first Future Warrior Day of the summer. ⚔️

From check-in and coffee shop conversations to meeting new classmates and exploring campus, it was a great day spent helping students prepare for their journey at Southern Wesleyan University.

We're looking forward to welcoming even more future Warriors throughout the summer as we count down to move-in day and the arrival of the Class of 2030.

It's official! Applications are now open for Southern Wesleyan University's NEW Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program beginning Fall 2026! If you or your student has been called to care for others and make a difference in healthcare, this is your opportunity to start that journey.

Warriors are making their mark on the national stage!

Over Memorial Day weekend, six Southern Wesleyan University voice majors traveled to Boston to compete in the prestigious Classical Singer Vocal Competition after advancing through a competitive online audition process.

Representing SWU were Savannah Brown, Rachel Cornett, Sarah Gocke, Jarah Roper, Caleb Young, and Dustin Smith. The students performed for professional judges, received valuable feedback, and gained experience competing alongside talented vocalists from across the country.

Congratulations to Savannah Brown and Dustin Smith, who advanced to the semifinal round of the Musical Theatre University/Pre-Professional division!

In addition to the competition, students participated in masterclasses, connected with graduate school representatives, and explored the rich history and culture of Boston.

We are proud of these talented students and grateful for the guidance of Dr. Amber James Cannady and Professor Lori Shelton, who accompanied them during this incredible opportunity.
