Now Hiring for a Church Secretary
Salem First Baptist Church is seeking a part time church secretary. This person will often be the initial contact people have with the congregation and is responsible for reception, clerical, and administrative tasks that support the congregation's ministry.
1) Potential applicants must be an active member of a Christian congregation and must support the mission and goals of Salem First Baptist Church.
2) Candidate must be familiar with computer based programs used for regular church business. (Microsoft Word, Canva, Power Point, Excel)
3) Candidate must have a basic understanding of data collection and input.
4) Candidate should have a basic understanding of general office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, copiers, printers, etc.
5) Candidate will possess the ability to communicate both efficiently and respectfully through all avenues of communication including telephone, email, and any other communication methods used.
6) Candidate must be creative and possess the ability to learn new forms of media to include updating the church website and social media accounts.
-This position is part-time (24 - 32 hrs/wk); M-F
