Applied Psycholinguistics Lab Research in the APL aims to link language theory and clinical practice.

The Applied Psycholinguistics Lab (APL) is housed in the College of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is run by Dr. Pamela Hadley.

All of these children are combining words together, but they are not all producing sentences. What counts as a sentence? To be a sentence, an utterance must contain a subject and verb.
