As an organization serving as a social bridge between domestic and international students, we would like to emphasize the importance of international students in our school community. International students are crucial to the intellectual, cultural, and social fabric of the school. With recent actions taken by the Trump administration, we would like to condemn this behavior as we see it as nothing short of: cruel, stupid, racist, and xenophophobic.

International Illini will always be happy to be able to provide comfort to many international students by helping them overcome many of the financial, cultural, and social challenges that come with studying in the US. Although, we may not be active in person we look forward to working with our students in the fall to create memorable experiences for everyone and ensure everyone feels loved on campus.
