The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's NABA chapter was chartered in the Fall of 1986. Since then NABA UIUC has continued it's legacy as one of the premier ethnic organization's on campus. We offer our members the opportunity to develop their professional skills through resume writing, professional dress, interviewing workshops, and professional etiquette workshops. With a wealth of knowledge to share, Sergio will be speaking with us about growing without borders, defying obstacles, and life’s decisions in a Ted-Style talk. Join us as we welcome modern day renaissance man, Sergio Brown for a TED-style talk on life’s decisions.

It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together, and Brown is living proof of this. Brown has played at the highest level in his seven-year NFL career for four different teams, making the playoffs five times, the AFC Championship twice, and the Super Bowl once. He continued to strive for excellence earning an Executive MBA from the University of Miami in addition to his Marketing degree from the University of Notre Dame while completing his final two years in the NFL. Join us to learn how Sergio Brown continues to grow without borders and how we can do the same.

Another successful spring kickoff with our NABA fam! Not only did we discuss the many things to look forward to for the semester, we did two rounds of speed interviewing to prepare for Career Fair and securing internships. Thank you BCS staff and students for helping us out to make lasting impressions to employers!

Start off your semester right with NABA and attend our kick-off meeting on Wednesday January 24th at 5:30pm-6:30pm. Come out to learn about what we have in-store for the semester then join us for a round of speed interviewing.

Dress is business casual and will be held in BIF 1049.
