Counseling Center Paraprofessional Program

Counseling Center Paraprofessional Program Counseling Center Paraprofessionals are students from ALL departments on campus. They engage in outreach around mental health related topics.

These are students who want to make a difference in the campus community. Counseling Center Paraprofessionals (CCPs) provide a wide range of services to the student population. For example, the Tuesday @ 7 workshop series covers a variety of personal, social, and academic concerns and is open to all students. CCPs also present and facilitate single-session workshops on request. Topics include stre

ss management, time management, study skills, healthy relationships, etc. CCPs have opportunities to mentor other students. CCPs also collaborate with the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Relations, as well as numerous other Counseling Center and Student Affairs supported programs.
