Audiofeed is next week!! This year instead of a tent, we are going to have one day of speakers (inside in the air conditioning!), as well as an info table and a booksale table--more books will be added to the booksale table all fest long, so if you are planning to be out there, be sure to stop by and say "hi"! And if you have no other plans on the fourth of July, come out for the day to hear our speakers and catch some interesting music!

This fall, Dr. Pearce Durst is offering an eight week class starting mid-October that will be examining the roles that preachers play in films. This class will invovle a mixture of theology, cinematic studies, and reflection on the ways that preachers have been portrayed across genres and across time, helping us better understand the stories that shape cultural views of preachers. This fall, Dr. Todd Daly will be offering Theology and Contemporary Issues, a class that focuses on how we apply Theology to current concerns and events. Because this is a class that focuses on applying theological concepts to specific things in the news, it is a little different every time he teaches it! This fall, visiting instructor Luke Hersche will be teaching a class based in his doctoral research! The class will focus on how the story of Christ can be found throughout the Bible, focusing specifically on how pastors and teachers can use this approach to scripture to shape their preaching/teaching. While we are not sponsoring a tent this year, our professors are going to be giving talks on the indoor stage on Saturday, July 4, and we will be hosting the church service on Sunday, July 5!
