Built on 255 acres of landscaped grounds in Champaign, Illinois, Parkland is centrally l

ocated and accessible to all 54 communities in District 505, the third largest community college district in Illinois. Our beautiful, quiet campus is situated near the intersection of interstate highways 57, 72, and 74 and is just a seven- to 10-minute drive from the University of Illinois campus.

Parkland College Health Professions' nursing program traces its roots back to 1968, when 25 students helped launch what would become one of the College's cornerstone programs. Just a few years later, the program earned full accreditation and helped establish Parkland as a leader in healthcare education.

🚍🔧 No two days are the same for MTD technician Thomas McClellan. From routine maintenance and repairs to diagnosing hybrid systems and mentoring new team members, he’s built a career doing what he loves.

A graduate of Parkland’s Automotive Technology program, Thomas credits the skills, hands-on experience, and professional connections he gained along the way with helping prepare him for a rewarding career at Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District.

Meet with representatives of these amazing RSOs and find your community at the Student Engagement Fair on Wednesday, September 9 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Explore campus resources and volunteer opportunities while participating in student-led activities hosted by Student Life and the Wellness Center. Free food will be provided to attendees with a Parkland student ID while supplies last.
